My 1st labor was pretty long...over 30 hours. Labor #2 started at 3am and I had her at 8:38am. :yikes: I didn't even get to the hospital until just after 6am. If I have another baby I'm camping out at the hospital just in case. :lmao:

Well mine were. 1st was 9 hours, 2nd was 2.5 hours, 3rd was 8 hours and 4th was 17 hours, whew and thank god no more....

The wives tale was true for me.... My youngest came in 3 hours his head was out when I walked into the hospital.

Hope that wasn't too graphic. :lmao:

30 hours? OUCH! WOW! I couldn't imagine. I have to cross my legs just to think about it. As for #2 I bet that was alot easier. I hate having to be at the hospital any longer then I have too. I think if I were you, I would definitely camp out at the hospital for #3 too!

Not to graphic for me. My mom was telling me that she was in labor with me forever. I was 9lbs 15oz at birth. However, when she had my younger sister, she never made it to the delivery room. She had her in the hallway of the hospital. She was 10lbs 8oz. Talk about OUCH too! :killingme

Sorry, Meme - my son was born on his due date and his little sister was a month overdue when they induced me. :frown:

Crabcake was supposed to be my "little firecracker" due on July 4th. She came July 27th. She was 10 lbs. 8 oz. :yikes:

I only have one, but thought I would chime in anyhow. I delivered at 38 weeks after 23 hours of labor. :shocking:
:howdy: Delivered at 37 weeks with 21 hours of labor. Went in for a checkup and came out with a baby. :ohwell: He was induced, b/c I was in labor and didn't know it, and I lived so far away from the hospital that they were afraid if they sent me home I wouldn't make it back. Labor was pretty easy for the first 16 or 17 hours, and when the going got tough, I got an epidural...definitely a good experience. I know for a fact that when I decide to have a 2nd, I won't be so lucky. :ohwell:

My Dr said my due date was 5/27. My first sono said May 12th. My son was born May 9th. I tend to go w/ the first sono dob. I went into labor at 6:30am and he was born at 10:27am. We arrived at Anne Arundel Medical Center at 9:30am. I was ready to push at the intersection of Route 2 and West Street. My husband was turning white!!!

My SIL had 6 hrs labor with the first, 3 with the second and was induced for the third because the doctor didn't want her having it on the side of the road. Good thing too, because she had number 3 about an hour and a half after the induction. One push. :yikes:

In most cases the first sono is the most accurate one.

:twitch: I can imagine the size of #4 if I went that far past due date, he would have been close to 11 lbs ( glad I didn't go past 39 weeks) :)
