The Honda and Volkswagen in spots 2&3 were the big surprise, VW especially.
For the Honda, these big engines are pretty much a US exclusive, makes sense to make them here.
The Acuras being ahead of any GM, Ford, or Chrysler was a bit surprising. I had always assumed they kept their Acura production in Japan.
Acura is Just Honda by another name. Seems even the vaunted NSX is made here in Ohio.
Knew that, Toyota keeps most of the Lexus production in Japan though. I've compared Toyotas made in the US vs ones made in Japan always seem to be better built.
My old TL was made not too far from where i grew up in Marysville, OH
