My mom lives on the street right behind us. I also lock the doors while I'm home.

My mother in law never just drops in. I love her!

Now thats a mother in law to be respected there.

My mother-in-law lives about 2 hours away, on Tilghman Island . She is wonderful. Never bothersome, I know I am lucky. I have heard plenty of horror stories of in-law's!!!!!

I already did that. But my truck and car are parked right out front. So, she knows I'm here.

I dont have my mother, she passed away 3 years ago. I would give anything for her to be here. The in-laws stood at a hotel this weekend, took 3 of our 5 kids last night back with them at around 900, they showed up at 820 this am!!! Not really spending any extra time with them, they were sleeping!!

park the vehicles at a friends house and drive theirs to yours, it makes it look like you friends rode somewhere with you, thus leading her to think that you arent home

My mother-in-law reads everything on the fridge, like its a public bulletin board, or anything else laying around. I have to take everything off our desk and put it in drawers or she'll stand next to it and read it on the sly, I guess she thinks we don't notice. If anything's out for school or extra activies for the kid she'll make an appearance without an invite. There's nothing really personal out it just irritates the hell out of me.
