Mountain Boarding/Kite Boarding

Hello all. Does anyone know of any places to mess around with a mountain board? I know of the large field right over the bridge in Solomons, but nowhere else.
Any large hills/fields around here?
Is the SMCollege hill/field big enough for that?
Oh snap! I may walk out to watch/talk to you guys.
I don't have a board yet. I really really want to get into it, and I'm trying to see if there is any places to do it around here before I buy one. I'm a HUGE snowboarder, so I want to try and find something to match that in the spring/summer.
Would you mind if I came out and bugged you guys?

My daughter wants a board so that she can do that. It looks and sounds like fun.

Wouldn't mind at all, meet me around noon and we'll talk. A small community is forming rapidly in the sport and I can set you up on some demo kites to see if this is the avenue you wish to choose. The weather system currently pushing in is causing some directional changes that may not work for the field but either way I'll stop by around noon.
