Movie download site

I'm looking to buy a small laptop for travel in the next few days. I see most do not have DVD drives on them anymore. Is there a website I can download currently released movies so I can watch them when Wi-Fi is not available?

I'm surprised movies haven't moved to something like thumbdrives instead of Blueray and DVD discs.

Get a subscription to NetFlix or any of the other pay-per-movie sites and stream movies directly to your laptop.

Short of that, find some ripping software that converts the DVD into a file that can be stored and played on your hard drive.

Small LAPTOPS generally have DVD drives. The smaller NETBOOKS generally do not. The two are not the same in performance and capability.

Buy an Android tablet and then just rent/download movies to your device from the Google Play Store.
