Psycho

"I can tell you the license plate numbers of all six cars outside. I can tell you that our waitress is left-handed and the guy sitting up at the counter weighs two hundred fifteen pounds and knows how to handle himself. I know the best place to look for a gun is the cab of the gray truck outside, and at this altitude, I can run flat out for a half mile before my hands start shaking. Now why would I know that? How can I know that and not know who I am?"

"This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war."

If Sam Spade were here we'd all be eating dust. Except for Dot.

Ha! Thanks!

But to be honest, it's a skill I'm not terribly proud of. It means in my mumblety-mumble years, I've spent a LOT of it watching movies on TV. Again.

However I do "hone" my skills by guessing the quote of the day on IMDB. Since it's from a random quote selector from their entire database of movies, most of them are poorly remembered obscure lines from movies no one's ever seen. Sometimes I get them, too.

They're making two sequels btw.

I'm glad. Sin City was great, especially the chapter with Clive Owen and Rosario Dawson as the main characters.

Yeah. And I loved the ending with the little hooker(Nancy?) getting on the elevator with Josh Hartnett. You just knew it was over.

No. It's "You're gonna need a bigger boat."

Scarred me for life when I was a young strapling.

BTW - like a LOT of good movie lines, that one was ad-libbed.

Another famous ad-libbed movie line:

"Sonofab!tch stole my line"
