I recommend the AMC Hoffman in Alexandria, VA
I love that theater. What I love most about it is that it's so close to a metro station, and decent restaurants. We'll often make a day of it...drive up there, metro over to Pentagon City, come back and catch dinner at one of the restaurants, watch a movie, and if it's warm out, grab some ice cream at Cold Stone. :yay:

You are absolutely right, They did well with that area. I worked off of Van Dorn for almost 8yrs and I saw what the area looked like before the theater arrived. There is a restaurant in the theater too. I loved Pentagon City Mall. Was my first mall as a teen, due to the metro station. You are right Nickel, one CAN appreciate the good things :huggy: Have you been to Potomac Yards? It's pretty ok, my first time there I was surprised they had a coffee bar, it was a cold night, I had my pillow and throw and coffee and enjoyed Antwon Fisher (the midnight show).

Where is that located??
Route 5 North to 301... 301 to 3... 3 to 97 North... 97 to 100 West... you will see signs for "Bass Pro Drive" and signs for Arundel Mills Mall.

Yeah ok.... Just drive to Waldorf. Hit the Theatre close to the mall and drive two blocks to Cold Stone Creamery. Anything else, is just communist.

Love,

Kain

Nope, never been. My aunt lives in Va Beach, and there's a Cinema Cafe near her house. The food isn't the best, but they serve alcohol, and it's an awesome experience!

Beware Arundel Mills...my friend's car got broken into there. The cops said that break-ins were common there :ohwell:

I think the closest decent theaters are the Annapolis theaters (Crown at the mall and Harbor Place, I think).

I've always wanted to start one of those around here. To do it right, it would have to be in Calvert since you can't do a microbrewery in St Mary's.

Can you go with me Christmas shopping next year. I could use your "snap out of it" method. :lmao:

Now that sounds nice. I wouldn't mind something like that. I don't know what's up with the LP Movie theater, there so needs to be a marketing team on site and weekly staff meetings.
