Soul Probe
Forest Gump (repeatedly throughout the movie, damn that Jenny!)

The Dark Knight (yeah I cried at the end, shut up)

August Rush (bf told me I had no heart if I didn't cry during that movie. My eyes were dry the whole time...until the end...then BAM a flood of tears. I was so happy to learn I actually had a heart!)

I've got the reputation of cryer in the family. I would cry at the drop of a hat at Hallmark commercials, sappy movies, Little House on the Prairie...

I mostly avoid the tearjerker movies now - I don't wanna cry!!! :lmao:

I hear ya, my hubby now says "babe, are you crying?" during anything remotely emotional. The worst thing to watch for me are those ASPCA commercials with that sad music. Strange thing is that this emotional side of me started while I was pregnant (yes, completely normal) but my son is almost 3 now. Why are my hormones still outta whack? When hubby first met me 7 years ago his name for me was "tough girl". Now I wipe my tears away over a damn movie or commercial! :cds: What's next, am I gonna start crying at cartoons? :killingme

Well I'm definitely a cryer sooooo other than what was named...The Notebook, Steel Magnolias, Man on Fire, Step Mom, Seven Pounds, Ghost, Pretty Woman and yes, even All Dogs Go To Heaven lol, a few that come to mind are:

Dirty Dancing
Family Man
Saving Private Ryan
Schindlers List
The Green Mile
The Story of Us
The Time Travelers Wife
Titanic
Terms of Endearment

In My Opinion
any chick flick that I am forced to watch makes me cry, but the crying usually takes place on the way to the theater.

I turn the channel when those come on but my 7 year old (boy) will come out of his room all teary eyed. ME: Did you just watch that ASPCA commercial?" SON: "yep".

He and I both teared up over the raccoon episode of American Stuffers.

Ahh I so LOVE that movie! I think every couple, regardless of how happy (or unhappy) they are should see it.

Biggest mistake ever:
I saw "Titanic" with my GF at the time when it first hit the theater. It was a sell-out and I end up literally surrounded by young women balling their eyes out, loud heavy weeping and all. GF was using my shirt and sleeve to wipe her tears cuz we didn't have any tissues. There should have been a disclaimer for any male attending to bring a box of tissues for their wife/GF. The movie didn't bother me a bit - amazingly I somehow knew that the boat would sink and lots of people would die. As for the "Finding then losing one's true love" theme, heck it was a chick flick - I knew Leo's character was gonna die from the beginning. The only surprise for me was the overwhelming amount of crying young women and teenage girls. Oh that and my shirt getting used as a kleenex!

Sounds like we were in the same theater. I was crying but my friend, OMG she was pretty much hysterical. I laughed at her the whole way home
