Moving to Pax River Area and need info!

Guess I said Gate 1 because that is what my husband always used since he worked very close to that gate. I was just giving some directions since Willows Road coming from the base is not well marked (as I found when trying to find it when we were house hunting in the area.) Also guess it is the Greens, couldn't remember the name. I know a few people who have lived in Abberley Crest and no one has said anything bad about them.




There's almost no reason in the world to use Gate 1 if you live in Abberly Crest. I've always found Gate 2 to be much quicker. Maybe leaving from the IPT building area during traffic, but that's about it. They're pretty good, just somewhat expensive. I still bet he'd find Gate 2 quicker sometimes. the line to get on base at Gate 1 is so ridiculously long that getting on base via gate 2 and navigating toward 1 is usually quicker. On the way home, Gate 1 would probably be faster from where he's at.

and you're right...the directions over there can be confusing! I always need to tell people to stay in the left lane if they're heading straight across Shangri-La

I think my "dating pool" comment has caused a stir haha. let me explain, The dating pool in vegas is pretty large, but is composed of the following groups; Tourists, Alcoholics, Single mothers with bady daddy drama, club rats, strippers, and college grads who just moved to vegas (who quickly become any of the aforementioned). Yes, this can be a fun group, but after a while it wears on you and will most definitely stress you out. I'm certainly not saying the dating pool in SOMD is better, just merely commenting on the reality out here.
