Rocky Mountain High!!
How would one best commute to DC from rt 235 (near oraville/oakville)
I'd much rather ride than drive...
OMG yesterday's commute into Annapolis and home again were AWFUL - accident at the last intersection before getting onto rt 50, and then another horrible accident in Mechanicsville kept me in the car for 6 hours yesterday wathicng other people eat, drink (and smoke) when i didn't have the good luck to stop for my usual snackie-drinkie on the way home. :burning:

Drive to C.H. and catch one of the commuter buses behind Burger King.

Riding the bus from Charlotte Hall would be best. You can take the 903, 905 or 909. The 905 runs every 10 minutes during rush hours, the 903 and 909 is every 30 minutes.

How long does it take? I'm going right downtown 1400 block (near Mass Ave.) Starbucks on every corner...YUMMMMMM....

Yes. First bus leaves Burger King at 4:30 a.m.

I catch the 4:30 905 bus and it gets me to Metro Center at 5:30 consistently.
