In the last forum I belonged to, there were a few folks who would post anything to get their post count up (the forum didn't allow MPDs). So one day there was a thread started called, "Talk amongst yourselves." I had a LOT of fun with that - I talked amongst myselves! Had a full-fledged argument going!

How did they know if you were creating an MPD or if you were genuinely a new person?

The time I got banned for the day, I didn't know what I was supposed to do so I logged on with the first ID I got (which I decided was stupid to use because my husband's last name is in it and it's a weird name and this is a small town... ) and PM'd you, begging to come back. But I got a (very nice) response from Dee Jay and, having seen Dee Jay post once or twice, often wondered how and why that happened.

Yes, I supposed I could have asked. But isn't this way more fun?!
