10:18 - Calling for the Seat belt cutter right away.
10:19 - Sheriffs office unit en-route advises roads are ice south of Beachville Road.
10:26 - Subject is out. Sounds like he is OK. Going home to get dry clothes on and will return to the scene.

Most of us have something similiar or a multi-tool. I have a multi-tool with disengtanglement shears, window punch, seatbelt cutter, knife, screw driver, a saw and a utility securer.

I found a credit card sized seat belt cutter when I was looking for that link. The issue would be having the wits to be able to use it to rescue yourself.

Very true. It's hard to do when your laying upside down in a creek bed.

I keep mine in the door panel in the event I need it quick for myself or someone else. It comes with an end that wil shatter a side window as well.
