Still trying to listen as best I can while getting ready for work. I have not heard anything useful. I am unsure that the ever got the occupants out of the car as yet. If they did I missed it. When they first got there they advised the car was surrounded by live wires. Put a Priority on getting SMECO on the scene because of this.

The last I understood there were no power outages in the area but they may have to kill a few things to effect the repairs though.

Ooops. They just said they were getting rerady to open the road back up.

No Problem. I am getting ready to roll out to work.. Hopefully someone else can fill in the details here in a bit while I am in between Computers.

Hey Jeff. I am sure you are a really nice fella & all but honestly between you posting every accident known to mankind & Nhboy and all his really strange news stories and whoever posted that awefull thing about a baby who had his nads eatin by a dog, I must admit most times I am so depressed, discouraged, disgusted from reading the thread title my stomach churns. I am not trying to offend, but really man I am a scanner nut myself but I can turn it on or tune it in. I don't need every detail here in print too. JMO. :smoochy:

BTW, I hope all people involved will be okay.

I agree. I don't read every one of the MVA posts, but it is really nice to know that we have the option to search and find these helpful posts by Jeff and the other scanner folks! Keep it up everyone! :high5:

not everyone in here has a scanner and we turn to jeff when things so on. i say thanks jeff for keeping us up on the happenings. this is an area forum so if you dont want to read about the accidents or police chases then it is your choice not to come in and read. after all on his post he does put what it is about. thanks again jeff!

Yes, there are a lot of MVA posts here. While they can be discouraging, I view them differently. For those of us without a scanner or tied into Jeff's system, it's nice to know where an accident is, so as to be able to avoid it if possible.

Secondly, if just one person, by realization of the number of MVA posts here takes the time to think, drive a bit more defensively, a bit more aware, maybe there will be one less MVA to post here.

I used to live with my grandmother down in Golden Beach (she's still there). Seems like someone is always hitting a tree/telephone pole. People go flying around those turns.

Jeff, thanks for taking the time to report as acurately as possible the details of accidents. I think this is a life saver for several reasons. If you know there is a bad accident in a certain area, most will avoid traveling near that area, thus cutting down on the traffic. I'm sure the EMS personnel on the scene appreciate having less traffic and rubber neckers on the scene while trying to do their job. It's a safety concern every time they are on the road dealing with an accident and having traffic passing by feet from where they are working.

At least Jeff is reporting more acurate details than some of the other scanner freaks we've had in the past.
