My hubby is my best friend, also, but doesn't always want to hear about my day or emotionsl It's not moronic. We just need girlfriends once in a while. I've been friends with her for 20 years. We met in the neighborhood, but she's moved out to Piney Point - great beach and I spend some weekends there. Might do it this weekend.

Steve used to be my best friend until he sat around all day with me and my two other chitty chatty friends up in Frederick a few years back. :whistle: :lmao:

Now my best friend is a lady I work with, and she's mucho fabulous. :yay:

Yes, I have a friend who has been my best friend for 25+ years. I met her in college and we were fast friends from day one. I can talk to her about anything and everything under the sun, and never run out of things to say. We've gone through so much together, even when it was long distance. We've shared and continue to share hopes, dreams, fears, pain, good times, bad times, and everything in between.

I consider her mom and dad family as they adopted me as another daughter from the start. They've been there for me so many times and in so many ways I can never repay them.

I spent the day Sunday with my friend, her son, and her husband. I realized how much I love her and what a very special lady she is. I am so lucky and blessed to have her in my life. :smile:
