Aww this is cute! SO is mad at me because I had been refusing to turn the AC on when he asked but finally did because my male kitty was hot.. He was just rolling around looking miserable (he is a norwegian forest cat..he has a double layer of fur and even between his toes) so I caved and turned it on for him...He did the same thing as your kitty...stretched out beside the register and took a nap.

How big do they get?

last i researched they can get pretty big..just under maine coon size I believe 10-14 or so..my boy is only about 8 months or so old..so hes till growing..but he's a big guy...probably about 8-9 pounds , He has the most amazing personality though..really spectacular for a cat. You could pick him up, throw him over your shoulder, whatever and he's so calm and gentle.


edit: out of curiosity I just looked it up..up to 16 for males it says.

Sweet. We have 2 marmalades. We can do that with one of them, but the other will look and you say "don't ####ing touch me" if you just walk in his general direction.

That's my female. and if you do pick her up...you hear her entire vocabulary. Most of them 4 letter words I'm sure.
