My Body is Rejecting the Tingle

I used tingle lotion for the first time when I tanned today. That was a few hours ago and my legs, from the knees down, are still tingling and they're all red and splotchy. :shocking:

After you take a shower that should go away. When I would use that type of lotion I had to make sure to shower before I would touch my son or he would get all red and splotchy.

Sounds like an allergic reaction. What the heck is in it?

Same thing happened to #2 daughter, she also had a very pretty red splotchy itchy tan! I would advise not to use it again or you could use it a second time and maybe the splotches will all join together! :lmao:

I use the tingle lotions, and they do the same thing to my skin. It will disappear after a few hours.

Just make sure you put the lotion on even everywhere. That way you don't end up with a splotchy tan, which shouldn't happen but you never know.

Another tip for the itchiness you are having. Use plenty of baby lotion, or lotion with alot of moisterizer (sp) in it. Constantly put the lotion on so you don't peel.

I'm going to try the spray on tan before I go to the Bahamas. Other then that I'll get it the natural way and when we're all in our 40s and you tanning bed queens look 60 I'll be stealing all your men! :yay:

That red, itchy, splotchy, burning is normal, K_Jo. I used to use lotions with a high tingle factor, but didn't like the way my skin looked and felt afterwards. You should try using a bronzer instead. Preferably a step 3 or 4. :yay:
