Thank you, he's huge-very tall and weighs 98lbs.-last of the "big" breed of Dobies it seems.

When he opened the gate to the fenced yard, it was raining and very dark. I felt a cold wet nudge at my elbow; I wasn't sure what it was! I hit the penlight and saw this skinny, scrawny dog. I tracked down his owner 3 days later who begged me to take him; she said she couldn’t control him. I asked her to sign a letter stating he was mine to keep and care for (I had him neutered immediately.) She gave me his papers and medical records.
Boo had no manners or training; he ran the roads for months. I heard stories of him running through neighbor’s houses; across beds and sofas and raiding trashcans, I thought it was an urban legend. He is truly a wonderful companion, watchdog and lover of my two female GSD. Thanks for the compliments.

Ya know, after looking at the picture again, you're right. I have never seen a Dobie that looked that muscular/stocky. I just thought he may have had some Rottie in him. Either way, beautiful boy.
