I have told my husband over and over that they need to adjust, but he wants to see results right away. They have always slept with us but they have started scratching at our dressers like at 2-3 in the morning and waking him up. He wants to put them in 1 of our spare rooms at night, but I know we will hear them running around. I just don't know what to do....

Either

A) Put your hubby in the spare room

OR

B) Get rid of your hubby!

My work is done here, I'm beat! :drama:

I think they would kill each other. Plus I would have to put litter box and food in their, it would be all cramped up.

Get two crates. Large dog ones would do. Don't you think it is better that they are cramped at night than getting rid of them:confused: Let them roam the house during the day for exercise.

Can't you put them in a spare room on the other side of the house? Surely there has to be a simple solution....

We stick our cat in the laundry room at night and close the door. He'll bang around in there for a bit, pissed off, but eventually he goes to sleep and EVERYONE sleeps well. He had a habit of meowing loudly outside the bedroom door at about 2:00 a.m. every night.

This here is your best advice. :yeahthat: Open the door and let them in, tell hubby if they wake him up, there is another room to go to sleep in. Tell him BYEBYE and have a nice night. Hell adjust. Just like he says the poor kittys will.

How about ear plugs for your Hubby and these for your cats?

this is what my beloved Fatty cat Charlie did first thing this morning. Oh, by way, never hold your cat while hitting the garage door opener, they dont like it.

Okay, had to measure when we got home. Our "full-figured" girl, who has been on a diet, measures 25 1/2 inches around. The problem, her paws are regular cat sized. When she jumps in your lap, it's like having someone shove spikes through your legs. And she is a very loving cat!!! Here she is...

By the way, she was NOT happy about wearing the dog's Chrismas dress

Its really hard to get a good picture of Charlies fat belly cause hes all black. But I can say he is not saggy fat like your kitty (BTW,veryprettty) he is solid. His tummy is like a rock. He does crunches:lmao:

:lmao: She really isn't as flabby as the pic makes her look, but she is big. She was getting up off the floor and I just happened to snap the pic at the exact right (or wrong, depending on your viewpoint) moment. We had a black cat years ago that looked sort of like yours. I love black kitties!

You know what's really funny? When we measured Ally yesterday, I also measured my Son's (who is 24) waist. His was only 2 1/2" bigger around than the cat's!! :roflmao:
