Okay, Kiki has learned to hook a claw into the pet door, swing it out, and duck under to get through. She has been shown numerous times that she can simply push through the door, a trick Gidget has mastered but that seems to confuse Kiki. She sits there with this look on her face - "Wow. Like, how'd she do that, dude?"

She's pretty dumb in some areas, but she's also a creative thinker. Hooking the claw in and opening the door the wrong way was pretty good. She was also the one who thwarted my solution to the toilet paper party that goes on in my bathroom when I'm not looking. And she figured out how to remove the dowel that is my sliding glass door "lock".

So yes, she has trouble with simple concepts, but she's brilliant in other areas. Sort of the Stephen Hawking of cats.

No. She's waiting for you to open it for her.

That is awesome. So she's not that bad after all.

No. That animal is...special. You take one look at her pondering the mysteries of the end of her nose and you think 'short bus' right away.

Makes me feel really good knowing two of my "boys" use the toilet to do their business, and I'm worried because they haven't learned to flush.
