It startled me, because I never heard it before. I looked all over, thinking it was one of the kids toys or something. It happened a few times that day. It has happened everyday, all week long, but I now know it is definately coming from my cell phone. I have no idea WTF is happening, and I feel funny for saying this, but my phone is possessed!
I wish I knew what it was saying. I wish I knew how to stop it. If none of you can shed some light on this for me, I'll be calling Verizon tomorrow.
If I get put away, in one of those white coats, where the arms tie around the back....please know I'll miss ya'll.

I know with in-house cordless phones, you can change the frequency.
Can you do the same with your cell?
It does sound like you are getting frequency bleed from another transmitter on the same or close to same frequency.

Does it only happen in the house or at other locations, IE; Out in town, on the road..??
Can you take it to the Verizon store and have them check it out?

If you could have seen hubby & I looking at each other like there was a ghost in the house! :roflmao: And the one time when I thought it was my cell...my cell was on the kitchen counter top but so was my new talking watch! So that's why I thought it was my phone. I hadn't even taken my new talking phone out of it's bag yet....but I was still able to hear it! :jet:
I just couldn't really understand what it was saying. It's out of the bag now and talks just fine. Loud & clear.
This was so funny when it was all happening. I just knew my phone was possessed! :yikes:

If that was a land line, I would suggest that someone was tapping your phone line. You're not in trouble with the government, are you?
