I hope they feel better soon. Bug told me she was sad for M the other day because she was so upset. :huggy:

 Yes, M said she was crying at lunch the other day b/c K was at home sick. Soooooo dramatic! :lmao:

I'd like to get some different furniture for our family room and would like leather but have read that it doesn't hold up well with dogs. I keep their nails trimmed, but maybe that's not enough.

And I like my dogs sitting with me in the evenings so staying off the furniture isn't an option.

Come over and look at my leather couch. It's held up wonderfully!

I think that is the day they had lunch together. Bug really did feel bad for her though.

Jabba, can you just put a blanket in the chair the dogs use? We have a throw in one that both Timon & Taco like to sleep on. It keeps the chair from picking up dog hair and smelling.

Hey Jabba, after you clean - to actually remove the dirt/dander etc...

Arm and Hammer, I believe, has a fabric spray pet deodorizer/neutralizer. It's in a can and looks like something that you'd have to clean or vaccuum (sp?), but you don't. It goes into the fabric. Then it dissolves....

So, I usually do the A&H pet hair release stuff on the carpet every so often (we vaccuum too much to do it every time), I throw the furniture covers in the washer (old furniture - covers come off), clean what I can of the furniture - Lysol some areas that are prone to need.. spray the neutralizer/deodorizer....

Put covers back on - respray furniture, carpets, dog beds etc...

Use Febreeze in between.

I personally don't allow my pets on the furniture or beds.
But... why not buy a small blanket that matches your stuff & throw it on their chair. Then you can chuck it in the wash every now & then when it gets smelly.

Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat, it's not your fault.

They won't take you to the vet.
You're obviously not their favorite pet.

Oh no!
It may not be a bed of roses.
You're no friend to those with noses.
I promise you, before we're done
all the world will smell as one.
