The accuser who kicked this all off is a former Bernie campaigner and my understanding is that she now works for Beta O'Rourke (which may or may not be true). This reeks of political hatchet job, and of course everyone wants to jump on the #metoo bandwagon.

I like Joe Biden. I don't want him to be President, but he always came across as a good guy even though I disagree with him about pretty much everything. It wouldn't surprise me one bit, though, if it was all an act and he's really a predator and jerk. But this is a standard Democrat tactic to shake off an opponent, and polls say Uncle Joe is the one to beat, so....

We agree on this (mostly). I think it is a take-down by Harris and/or her allies on her behalf.

Joe is a politician. He comes across different than he is, like most politicians.

The physical evidence is there that VP Biden tends to be VERY handsy. If that's what he'll do in front of cameras, what will he do when the cameras aren't there?

You have good reason to believe this is a politically-motivated attack. The timing suggests you are accurate. However, the physical evidence is there to support the politically-motivated attack.

I don't think of sniffing hair as "manhandling". What we do know is that if the press is out to get you, they can manufacture outrage like snapping their fingers. And now they're out to get Joe Biden for whatever reason.

I'm more interested in that: why Joe is in the hot seat. Is it because he called Mike Pence a good guy?

That's probably one reason. He and Pence are friends. And he is right.... Pence is a good guy.

Other reason..... Joe is leading most of the Dem polls and he hasn't even filed yet so he's likely to fulfill the role that Bernie was in back in 2016 when the DNC torpedoed him in favor of Hillary.
