Actually, I dont think I would really make the gay kid comment in public.

I dont really think the kid was gay, but he does have some rather female qualities about him.

I don't think you you would either. :huggy: It sounds like that little boy was in the right place, because it can only help him to know how to defend himself.

2A I will let you know if I can get one going. I always thought it would be useful for moms with little ones to learn ways that they can defend with one hand (assuming your holding a non walking baby). You feel so vunerable if you have your hands full of little kids and you happen on a tough situation. I have often wondered what I could do, how to adapt what I learned in ladies' self defense in case I need to protect the kids.

My sister gave me pepper spray, but I really thought I would hurt myself (naturally blond) She has a kuboton on her keys, I will have to bug her to teach me to use it. That is a good idea, I always have my keys out :yay:

"Them kubo tans look right nice" I hate when you have to hang around naked for a half hour waiting for them to dry

Here is a tape on the use of the kuboton.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that it is a damn shame when women with their children along with them have to be concious of defending themselves and their family.

Our "society" has gone to hell in a hand basket. Ever since the '60s, people have not been held personally responsible for their actions. With that came an attitude of "don't blame me" and "I can do anything I want". Freedom gave way to licentiousness.

It's not just you....

I carry a "tire checker" with me....looks like a small baseball bat with a steel band around the end....was given to me when I first started driving a truck(to check the tires....yeah....that's it....the tires :lmao:)....I've only used it twice(knockwood) in the past 15 years other than checking the tires :yay:

Thank you so much, I think this will be perfect :yay:

It is sad that we have to think this way. I grew up very athletic, outspoken and outgoing. You would never have thought I would act like a victim, but I totally did. Woman worry about hurting peoples feelings and not looking like a b**ch. I always ask my girlfriends if they were ever in a situation where they were not comfortable or in danger, every woman I have asked has said yes, including myself. I was depositing my paycheck in a bank and two men started saying "come here right now!" I started to go to them because they happened to be black and I did not want them to think I was prejudice. When I came out of the bank, I did not ask for an escort or call the police, I just went to my car. The men got angry and started to chase me in the car. It wasn't until that moment that I listened to my inner voice, I new a way out of the parking lot that was sneaky, and was blessed with a clear six lane road and a green light. I was able to get away. But did I call the police and tell them nope. I felt it was my fault. I was always one of the girls that said, I would have kicked them where it counts and ran. I knew nothing and did everything wrong. Fast foward 14 years and I still have to remind myself not to think like a girl. Just a few weeks ago I turned off the alarm to answer the door to a strange man. Why? Because he knocked on the door. The minute I did it I was like "Duh", but how many times are women expected to be alone with a plumer or service man? bcp you are doing the right thing with your girl, you could be saving her life and teaching her things that she needs to know :yay:
