My dog is weird.

For some reason, my dogs loves bath time.

Not to mention whenever we play frisbee and she gets hot, she'll go inside, and hop right in the tub waiting for me to turn the cold shower on.

Aww....mine don't love bath time but they sure do love getting dried off afterward (we made it a game). They get all excited when you say "bath?" but sit there looking pitiful while they get it. After the bath, though, one of these days I'm going to video it.

 I just wish my dog would not jump out of the tub while I'm trying to turn the water off. then I end up chasing her around the house with a towel.

That is exactly why I bathe mine outside with the hose. I thought it was hard hauling 113 pounds of unruly labrador INTO the tub-- chasing a wet sudsy one through the house is oh so much more of a challenge!

I need to take tater, although he is the best smelling dog I've ever known. Why does he always smell like baby powder? Is it a boxer thing? I'm dead serious, the dog smells like baby powder. No, I haven't put anything on him, no powder, no sprays, no baths, nothing. Flea stuff. That's it.

weird dog!

My GSD used to come and start the nose poke EVERY time I dried my hair. He loved to be blown dry. He would tolerate a bath just to have his dryer time. Crazy dog.... Miss him.... :frown:

The nose poke is funny, I've seen other shepherds do it. Mine does it all the time when she wants something.

Sorry yours isn't with you anymore. I'm sure you have lots of happy memories.

Yes I do have a lot of good memories. thanks. He would also grab my wrist and pull me where he wanted if I was not geting the message with the nose pokes. Funny, my lab does the same thing if he thinks I am being particulary obtuse about exactly what he needs at any given time. And there are actually still people that think that animals are not intelligent....:smack:
