Whatever I may think of him, I think the dude has a point. Isn't the feminist mantra that girls and boys should be treated the same? So if the "woman" can say "no" (however drunk) and that has held up in court (even if the court is only a college version) shouldn't the same rules apply to the guy?

I can see why some would see this as a fantasy come true (and maybe for some it would be). But I would hate it if instead it turned out to be a college version of "The Beguiled" (original Clint Eastwood edition b/c it was better than the CF one)? Which it kinda did.

In the end, they're all a bunch of idiots. Each and every deserve whatever fall-out results.

My point is that we are no longer playing by so-called old rules. We are being forced to play by frankly awful new rules. You watch, the dude gets charged with going into his GF's phone with everything else being tut-tutted away while he is mocked for his masculine deficiencies. I don't agree with the new rules, but we're fools if we choose to either ignore them or fail to use them to rebalance away from the current insanity (especially the college environment that this dude claims the incident occurred in).

Yeah, I get it. The story was probably posted b/c the dude is a bit of a soy-boy and it makes for good fun. I guess I'm a kill-joy because what's happening on campuses is something I have a tough time finding humor in.

You don’t owe any defense or explanation to anyone, and it sounds to me that these ladies KNOW they were invading your personal space. Frankly, if the roles were reversedd, you know damn well you would be publicly judged and hung out to dry.

Don’t let the hateful bs on this page affect you. I’m sorry you have been violated, and your instincts are probably focused on protecting yourself or maybe even hiding as a result of the mental struggles this can cause. Good luck to you.
