I understand that people don't volunteer. What I don't understand is how people can bash a volunteer system. If it's that much of a problem to those people, feel free to take time out of your schedule and come volunteer with us. Then, when someone says that your system is sub-par and you don't think the people in place you can do it, after you invest thousands of hours a year in training, both practical and book work, you can tell me how you feel.

Regardless of how my previous post(s) were received; I am not bashing the volunteer system. H*ll, the VRS folks have MY respect; and the firefighters.....they run INTO burning buildings. I don't have what it takes for that either.

You never once dogged the system, so my comment wasn't necessarily pointed at you. It was just a general statement.
