My husband... "The Saint"

Railroad

Routinely Derailed
If I had a dime for every time I tried to do something nice or helpful and caught hell for it, I'd be a very rich man. The "Saint" was trying to do a good thing when he messed up, and he doubtless had visions of the happy and surprised reaction the haircut would cause. I feel for the guy. Okay, so he messed up - while trying to please, and with the best of intentions.

This assumes he messed up. Nothing wrong with a short cut in summertime.

His ears are too big for this type of haircut! Let's not avoid the elephant in the room.

I didn't even notice his ears. They don't look too big.

Now, these are big ears...

Happiness
My husband did the same to the 12 year old last night  Started out a little long, little shorter, little shorter, then bam.....white power! Poor kid, hope it grows back in time for school

Boy is not too upset about it.....heard him saying "aww look, the dog is being super sweet to me because he thinks I have kiddie cancer"

:lmao: The first time we cut my kid's hair for a summer buzz, he so looked like a cancer patient. We went a little longer next time.

:huggy: It does grow back. First time I cut my kiddo's hair it looked vaguely like that. Except I missed the sides in front of his ears, so he was buzzed all over except for sideburns. I also didn't mean to buzz him.

The next time I decided to try and do it with scissors so I didn't accidentally buzz him. Instead I accidentally jabbed him in the forehead with the scissors as he was squirming to avoid them.

Haircut time is coming up soon again. :faint:
