My kitty Shirley

Had to have my 13 year old kitty Shirley put to sleep on Tuesday. She had a fast growing very aggressive tumor and there was nothing we could do. We took her to the vet and we were in the room with her when she took her last breath.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. It was definitely one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do. I still have her sister Laverne who seems to be holding up pretty well, although I am keeping a close eye on her making sure that she eats and gets lots of cuddle time from her "kitty mom".
