I wish Barking Spiders and Stifler would have left me a cute little smilie before that. So disappointed. :ohwell:

Being very good with numbers is such a disadvantage.
Stop hijacking Jawzie's tread. :spank: :tantrum

BTW, good luck on the surgery tomorrow. :flowers:

Thanks so much, everyone. I'm just starting to get nervous...probably b/c the kids are asleep, it's quiet, and I've done all the prep-work for the morning. Surgery is at 7:30am and we have to be at Children's at 6am. I'd better get to bed.

How long is the surgery going to last? :huggy: I'm sure the anxiety is overwhelming right now but they DO have the best doctors around, so she will be in very good hands.

She was most beautiful this afternoon (you too!) when I saw you two. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out! :huggy:

Good Luck with everything tomorrow. My son had emergency surgery there when he was four. What a wonderful place. They'll take good care of her. :huggy:

We're home!! Everything went great and the baby is doing well. The surgery itself took 1/2 hour, besides the prep time - so she was gone about 1 hour total. We were really surprised in recovery...the nurse stuck close to us and was right on top of things. The release was very speedy, and we were well taken care of. K's finally acting 90% normal - she was out of it for most of the time there and slept the entire way home. Her neck has a bandaid on it that we removed on Thursday morning, and we'll just need to keep the area dry for the next week or so. The stitches are dissolvable, thankfully. We can already see a noteable improvement in her ability to look to the left.
