Hell no. And not just once a day. The after bfast nap, the mid-morning nap, the 'just closing my eyes before lunch", after lunch nap, .... you get the idea.

All of my long, working life I would have given anything for a nap around 2:00. Every time I tell myself I shouldn't take a nap, I remind myself of that. Now I find myself timing what I do around the nap 🤣

God bless the USA
Is napping the norm for those of us retired? I was feeling guilty for napping.

You are lucky that you can nap. There is no napping for grandparents that babysit. I love it, though. They remind us of our children when they were babes. It keeps us young. We will sleep when we die. And, the fact I am stilll awake is a miracle.

I've always been one to make every minute of the day productive in one fashion or another. Now, if I start to feel drowsy after lunch, I take advantage of the fact that I CAN, and recharge a little for the rest of my day.

Darwin was right
Since she lives in a progressive and modern country with a high standard of living, I can't imagine how her childhood has been destroyed as she wails about in her public sermons.
