My pipes!!

Found this after a quick web search.

Get a hold of a product called Classic Cloth. They sell it here at the Honda dealer. This will take it off and not scratch the chrome, it will also take off shoe rubber. Trust me my wife and child seem to always leave part of the shoes on my pipes. I burned my rain suit on my pipes today and it took it right off.

Harley? Bad news, I'm pretty sure you voided the warrantee by applying a non-Harley product to the pipes, like your pants. Best bet is to just toss ‘em in the dumpster and press on. You really don’t mind setting off car alarms as you putt through a parking lot anyway, do you?
