I give my puppy cold baby carrots, the vet says they are good for her and they feel good on her teeth. She's getting her big girl teeth now, looks like all the puppy teeth are gone, she lost the two top canines Friday.

My poopy, Oreo, is 14 and has always loved green beans and carrots. My Cookie dog loved them, too, but she left us in January...always like to mention her. Veggies are a good thing for poopies. Be sure to eat yours, too, DoWhat!

My puppy's favorite treat is ice cubes, it's been hot here and the more she eats, the better I feel too. I don't buy dog treats, she's gets all she needs with her food and the carrots she gets sometimes.

Veggies and My Girl

My girl Nikki, she left us in November, didnt mind eating carrots, lima beans and even watermelon and cantelope. The one thing she wouldnt eat was peas. I would give her a little homemade beefstew whenever I made it and she would go to town on the beef, carrots and potatoes, but when she was finished, there would be a stack of peas in the bottom of her dish. None of them broken or smashed, just a little stack of perfect peas. To this day, I still dont know how she did that. LOL

:yay:..... when my oldest GSD was a pup.. I had a cantelope sitting out... got in the shower .. came out and he was half way done.....was eating the whole thing! :jameo:


I give the a good spoonful of yogurt at every meal!!!

I've never tried yogurt, but she did love her ice cream and believe it or not an occasional root beer. That dog just thought she was human.

Anyone know of an acurate site that lists things dogs should not eat (food wise). My girl Nelli loves veggies and would prob eat anything I gave her. Just want to be sure. TIA.
