Got a call today by a production company, they wanted to know if they could use my 70 vw bus in a documentary. This should be fun. I'll let you know what the outcome is when the shoot is over.

Apparently my 65 convertible was in a Ricky Martin video, but I just can't bring myself to watch all of them on youtube to see which one.... snoozefest :snooze:

Neat. My first Father-in-law had an early 60's VW bus and on a trip through N.H. he let me drive for a while. Lots of hills, think it was a 65 HP engine, so going down I floored it and by the time we got to the top of the next one we got down to 25 MPH. Floor shift and once I pulled the stick right out into my hand. He knew it did that so just put it back in and all was well.

What a fun day and boy am I pooped. Left here at 5am, got up to Crownsville @ 715am, shot until 345pm. It was a docu on the kidnapping of Patti Hearst and will air on Larry's favorite channel, MSNBC :larry: in January 2010.
I did some driving as well as the actors. The scene we shot was the shoplifting of Mel's Sporting Goods store. A big thanks to Sirens Media for the experience as well as entertainment of the day.
