I get a kick out of people who say "it is how I stay in touch with my friends"!
WTF? I mean, we still have the phone and e-mail!
I don't like the phone
and some of the idiots on my list don't have a home email only work so
it really IS how I stay in touch with friends from high school and such
Ha thats pretty funny. Thats one reason I dont have myspace... To much stupid stuff goes on there.
I like myspace, and like reading my friends/families blogs, looking at new pics. For those of you who don't have a myspace account, it does't have to be veiwable by the general public. You can choose to lock out all but friends, which I've done. You're default pic, which everyone can see, can be anything. It doesn't have to be a picture of you.
only the stupid stuff you let go on goes on....there are several privacy settings....
I guess I dont have myspace because I have enough "friends" IRL

I understand the whole privacy thing.
Tom will be your friend.
Myspace peeps know what I'm saying.

I guess it would be good for people to centrally "share" info about themselves, especially to people who are not local.
It never crossed my mind...
Nice idea about the pic and private information mAlice
...hmmmm - I might be a convert after listening to these opinions!
When my Son was at Parris Island for basic training, we Moms, Girlfriends, Aunts, etc. decided to create Myspace pages so we could all see what each other looked like. It was the brainstorm of one DI's wife (she was also the moderator of the message board we were all on). It was really fun and I still go in every so often and do a little updating. I have mine locked to just my friends too. Funny thing is, I just had someone I graduated from High School with contact me and ask to be one of my friends because she saw my profile. So it can be a good thing. Oh, and you're right! Tom will always be your friend!!
