So far, so good. I went in yesterday for another session because I'm not going to have time the rest of this week. Like Jameo said, it just fades gradually like a regular tan.

The runs are caused by not toweling off properly. You have to start at the bottom and work your way up to eliminate drips.

What exactly did you do that caused the runs down the back of your legs... and what was blotchy.... was it an all-over blotchy appearance or only in the dry areas such as feet, elbows, knees...

Vrai, how is your fake bake holding up...

The runs were from the tanning solution that I didn't wipe off quick enough I guess. And the blotchiness was pretty much all over. My hands and feet were a different story (again my fault ) I didn't use enough of the cream they you are supposed to put on your hands & feet to keep to solution from soaking in. My hands and feet looked all nasty and dirty until that crap faded away

I think the results really depends on your skin type. I've seen allot of people that it turned out great on and then others (like myself) that it turn out like crap.

Ok so I did the spray tan on Friday night for the first time. The nozzles were clogged in some places. Got jet sprayed in all the wrong places. It came out horrible!!!!! I had to wipe off all the runs. It didn't look like I got anything until I woke up on Sat. , then I looked like I had some sort of skin disease!! I had an outside party to go to so I used the Coppertone sunless tan in all the bad spots. --- Looked better but not what I wanted. I called up there and they said "Yep!, the nozzles are clogged. Sorry about that!" GEEEEZZZZZ!!!!!!!

Extreme Heat in Mechanicsville. The offered to let me do it again, once the nozzles were unclogged or get my money back or just wait and do it again once they get more nozzles added for a more all over tan. What was it supposed to be in the first place? oh well, my friend owns it so knowing me, I'll probably go do it again......when I don't have anything planned the next day!

I have heard that the secret is to rub yourself down with lotion before being sprayed. Supposed to give you an all over even tan. Personally I think it's better to lay on the picnic table for an hour.

Gee, I was thinking of going to get it done also. Now I am really having second thoughts :frown: , guess I will go hit the tanning bed up today instead.

And exfoliate beforehand so your knees and elbows don't soak up a ton of color.

I was seriously considering this...but seems like too much work and too much $$....I looked at a bottle of self-tanner at walmart, and it said that you should shower before swimming b/c the tan washes off! So does that mean I'd look all cool at the beach, but when I go swimming, I'll look like a freak?

I went yesterday...girls day out..3 of us went and got nails and peds done..eyebrows and then I got the mystic tan they others have a tanning bed at home. Anyway today my palms are dark..one elbow but I am darker all over too.My legs were white but my arms brown befor I went.My arms are still darker. I have a white patch under my chin. I would do it again but pay more attention to what I do. Works out pretty cheap..$25 first visit and 1/2 next trip.
I am a complete :dork: when it comes to stuff like that...I can't even do the sunless tanner on my own b/c every single time I come out with a white patch somewhere...I'll just embrace my fair skin :huggy:
