Very nice car, has great looks, several really nice colors. If I hadn't retired in the past year, I would have traded my 2009 Corolla in for a Cruze. Nothing wrong with the Corolla its been great, great gas mileage. The body style isnt the greatest, bit on the ugly side (pinstripe and body molding helped) my concern at the time I bought it was mpg. and it came through nicely.

Gas mileage is something like 36 highway-25 city MPG according to the ads.
I've had mine for a week, as of today. I have only been to and from work mostly; about 28 miles/day, but I'm still on the good side of 1/2 a tank.

Pros and Cons of Diesel Cars
Like soccer, diesel cars are a worldwide phenomenon that Americans just don't get.

In Europe, more than 50% of new cars sold have diesel engines, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association. Meanwhile, the U.S. auto market share for diesels hovers around 3%, says Jessica Caldwell, a senior analyst at the website Edmunds.com.

But there are signs diesel cars are becoming more mainstream, she says.

Improving technology has largely eliminated the noise and black smoke that used to follow diesels.

They don't mention the possibility of running out of UREA Or possibly being married to your dealership to get pre-filled proprietary UREA tanks.

Of. ourse they also don't mention the taxes you pay on a diesel.
