Name this store?

I think it's at a four way stop. It had a ball field on one corner, may have had a very tiny gas station or just pumps at one time or another. There was a sign that may have been a turn off to St Clements (?) Clements Island (?) and I used to pass it on the way home from Kings Dominion, after I did that turn off at 301 near the motel. I think it's an antique store now that's only open once in awhile.

The grocery store was just a couple hundred yards up the hill towards Leonardtown, back and to the side of Guys.

Don't think so. I would call it a country general store.
That's the place. Just looked it up and I'm pretty sure I used to see Ables Diner near it and that's what the little map reflected. Never knew what the store was because I was always passing it late at night, just assumed it was groceries. I think it's an antique place now.

Hey while I got you, what was the name of the thing that you and it sounds like everyone on this forum used to go to ages ago. I never knew what you guys were talking about, but it may have something to do with music and a lot of drinking.

No, boat motors, farm implements, parts.
I probably passed it and didn't even realize it. Was there a gas station or gas pumps near there? It seems to me I stopped there one night on the way to Dameron coming up from Georgia and a really nice older man with a really twangy accent commented that I wasn't exactly dressed for the weather.

Gas station used to be directly across the road from Hurry's.
Thank you! Been playing the trip down memory lane game with someone who's lived here nearly all his life. He even remembered Albertson's and everyone younger said it never existed.

Oh, you'll hear many things about it but it was basically a philanthropic social organization.
Hmmmm, engineer I know that grew up here in the county. Didn't quite describe it that way.... Unless the philanthropy was for guy distributing... :)

Like I said, you'll hear a lot of things about it. But what would you call an organization that threw parties where all profits made were donated to those in need?

Was it a local thing? I heard my friend mention it in passing a week or so ago but at the time didn't say anything.
