I LOVE it. "Captain" would be his ordinary name, and "Captain Ahab" could be his formal name - you know... for those times when he gets into trouble. Captain captures the images quite nicely of water, being the "Master and Commander" [well, you're the Master and he's the Commander], and all things nautical. It's a perfect name.

My own doggie has the most perfect name of all, tho.

I love Calypso! I had been calling him Calvin, but I think we are early enough in the game that if I change it he will be ok..
