Redskins is slang and it was meant the same way n1gger is.

Spartan isn't slang. Nor derogatory. Buccaneers and Pirates are outlaws, like Raiders. That's different. Athenians, I don't even know where you pull that from. Celtics isn't derogatory. Mics would be. Demon Deacons, I'll have to check on that one. And I have never heard the term 'jimmy hat' in my entire life. Ever.

I was saying that if we ban Seminoles or Braves, then we'd have to ban the others since they refer to a group of people. It was meant to be absurd because the whole idea of not using a non-derogatory name is absurd.

If you don't know what a jimmy hat is, I suggest you ask someone born after 1950.

I would love it if a team was called "The Whities". The problem is that non whities would be offended for not being included.
