Oh, good! When I planted the mantis egg casings all over the place, I didn't know they ate birds. Holy moly! Can you imagine how big those suckers would get if they had a regular diet of bird? I saw one last year that was easily a 10 inches long.

:howdy: C hung a hummingbird feeder outside our bedroom window so I have something to look at when I'm playing invalid. Do I need to do something to let them know it's there? I don't think they've noticed. :ohwell:

Good to know, I put one out last year and was a hit with the wasps...not what I had in mind...especially since I put it on the back porch.
