Is there a reliable computer repair facility in St M Co? Do not want to go to Best Buys.

Mine is slowing, developing a high pitched whir, and getting slower & slower.

Recoms appreciated.

Staples does repairs as does TQCI and I believe it's Alliance Computer by Nicoletti's (next to the lawyer). I've used both Alliance (if that's the name) and TQCI and both have been fare and reasonable.

Forth Front Technology is a new business that works with bussiness accounts.They do everything computer related. They recently did work for the company that I work for and they were very proficient in what they did. Is this your home computer???

I'll give Alliance a call. TQCI was great but they went out of business several months ago.

How about one that will fix - gulp - LAPTOPS? Although, frankly, most laptop "fixes" I know of are pretty much motherboard replacements. Still cheaper than buying a new one.

Yeah, that's done daily. Got more security than the CIA...ad-aware, zone alarm, syp bot, & a couple of others, all freebies & all supposedly compatible with one another.

do have a wonderment, though; reccently upgraded to zone alarm 7.0. NOW, seems as if I remember there being some compat. issues with that & XP??

I work in a help desk and I've found Zone Alarm can sometimes do more harm than good. The whil could be a dying fan or a hard drive problem. If you have data I suggest you back it up.
