I have never had good experience with used dealerships. The cars are way too overpriced. I only buy new cars now.

Have you tried buying from someone who is not a dealer?

Also search through Yahoo autos, I found a 99 integra at a dealer in DC for only 3800. It's in good shape and I have already put 30,000 miles on it

Bell Motors used cars, ask for Frank Bell. Just purchased a 2001 truck with a book value of 8800 for 7500. Have also purchased cars from Pat Hall @ Hodges on 235 and have had great results as well. We've always had good experiences with those two dealers. We always have things checked out by Don King @ Leonardtown Service Center first if we're serious about buying a used car. He never steers us wrong. Good luck!

I know you said southern maryland but if you don't mind an hour ride north, I just bought a jem of a car at carmax.com. Search on line, call them, they'll hold it for 3 days then you go look at it. NEVER had a problem with them yet. They're in Laurel & Rockville and they're less than bluebook in most cases.
