Skys doing great this morning. Went potty outside and is enjoying a chewy toy. She keeps trying to get the cat to run but the cats like "whatever" so she seems to be losing interest.
Shes such a sweetie. Hubby and kids had a hard time getting out the door on time for work. Staying home and playing sounded like much more fun!

Sky seems happy and getting stronger everyday. She's running some and climbing stairs. Hates going back down though. Shes such a good girl. Today was a perfect day to lay around and snuggle with the pups. Shes really holding her own with the other dogs when the wrestling matches break out. She only gets crated when we are not home to keep her safe.

Just thought Id give you all a Sky update. She has settled in and we have started to see her true personality. We couldn't have asked for a sweeter pup. She follows us everywhere and is very smart.
We dropped her off at the vet today to get spayed. It was so hard to leave her with those big sad eyes knowing what shes already been through.
We are picking her up tomorrow evening.
Sky loves toys! ...and stealing them from ozzy when he's not looking
Shes becoming so affectionate!

How cute she is! Looks like she's found a new best friend. They look like two peas in a pod. Keep the updates coming. Everyone loves adorable doggie pics.

Glad to see how happy she is and has really matured in her face and body. Beautiful coate.

Its time for another Sky update!
She is such a fun girl. I just dont know where she gets all her energy lol!
She can be a real couch potato too. It just depends on her mood.
We have enjoyed watching her explore new things.. except for the bath. I felt so bad for her. I was soaked and she was mad at me for a good while.
I'll just be giving her quickie baths until spring when it warms up outside and we can use the baby pool. The other dogs love it so Im hoping she wont be afraid of water or swimming.
I put this pic side by side with the first one from the shelter on page 1 and couldnt believe the difference. Almost looks like a different pup. Such a purdy girl!
Waiting for santa paws. I was worried about the tree at first because everything hanging on it looked like toys to her. It was her other end that ended up being a problem- the TAIL! LOL!
She figured out what to do with presents real quick!
We have been working on getting her to enjoy trips in the car. I think shes starting to like going bye bye. Ozzy goes ape when he sees the leash so shes following his cues.
She has built some serious muscle and looks really healthy. I had to put her on a feeding schedule because she was overeating. Its hard not to give in to her expressive eyes when we are eating people food. She'll eat anything and I mean anything
