Need a hang out near CSM Leonardtown campus

Youngest is taking Behind The Wheel over there. We live in Calvert so it seems more practical to just wait somewhere close by instead of driving home and heading back an hour later. Is there any place to sort of hang out for a couple of hours? The only time I go to Leonardtown is to the hospital. TIA.

OK, I will keep those in mind. Just need a parking lot to sit and wait without having the cops called on me.
My granddaughter took her lessons at CSM also. She lives in Calvert, I live in Leonardtown. I would drop her off, go home and pick her up when the lesson was over. There were several parents waiting in the parking lot waiting for their kids to finish. Dont think anyone will harass you. :buddies:

I will probably just wait there.

Leonardtown Wharf is a public park. You can sit and people watch as they walk their dogs.
Looks nice, but people are so weird and rude there!
So there I am, sitting in my car minding my own business . Then I see some nice kids waking by, and remember that I have a half full bag of candy somewhere in the trunk. But I’m too lazy to look for it. So I tell the kids that I’ll pop the trunk, and they can look for the candy and it’s theirs — but it might be deep in there, so they will have to climb in. And there might be a Barbie I there, also theirs if they find it.
Next thing you know, their parents are banging on my windows, yelling. Sheriff comes over and starts harassing me.
Yeesh, people nowadays are so aggressive about their kids not eating sugar and playing with gender-specific toys, and are so rude about it!

Just be open about it and use a white van with a Free Candy sign on the sides of it.

On further thought, I will probably end up doing this. Nice scenery and I will at least have a restroom nearby if needed. There are restrooms/ porta potties, right???

Sorry, that's a question I can't answer. The scenery is nice though.

There is a speak-easy, close by, where wearing a mask is forbidden, and social distancing rules are scorned. It's a place where everyone is happy, content, joyful, and alive. But ..... Since I can't vouch for you, (as a person that would not report us to the woke), I can't tell you where it is. Sorry.
