Need a new battery

...for a 2005 Harley Davidson Electra Glide. I looked on Ebay but came up with no hits. Where do you buy one? :nerd:

Walmart or one of the auto parts stores around might have it. The Harley dealer will definitely be able to get you one.

Harley Davidson dealer in Hughesville, they might have it or they can probably pt u the right direction.

Do you know about how much they cost? I was hoping to save a little bit of money, but Ebay didn't pan out. I'm just so lost when it comes to this kind of stuff, I don't want to buy the wrong thing.

WalMart, AutoZone, Advance Auto... I got my GoldWing battery at Adavance, about $39 if I remember right...

That's not a bad price at all. Harley told me to look on Ebay but not for anything over $70. If we can get it locally for about $40, that would be awesome. Spring is here, time to ride the other kind of beast. :biggrin:

You'd have a hard time with shipping if you could find it off of ebay. Much better idea to hit Walmart first.

Are they as heavy as a car battery? But it must be smaller and they could fit it in a flat rate box. Besides, Ebay didn't have anything for the Electra Glide. Harley was just hoping to get one cheap.

I still have this dang bike part that cost $400 that I could never move on Ebay. I would love to sell that thing, whatever it is :lmao:

It's smaller, but still heavy. But that's not the problem. Battery acid and lead are the problem.

True. Someone sent me a local contact that might be able to beat a dealer price. I'll have Harley check that out. At least I can provide him with some contacts and options.
