Need a pediatrician recommendation other than Dr. Miller

We are looking for a new pediatrician as we are unsatisfied with Dr. Miller. Our daughter has been sick since the first week of September, we've taken her back to Dr. Miller's office several times only to be told its probably a virus and it should go away on it's own. Honestly a 2 month virus is a little hard to believe. Between his office staff and this situation we have had enough and are seeking a second opinion and a new doctor. Any recommendations for St. Mary's or Charles county would be appreciated. Thanks

We go to Cambridge Pediatrics on 925. Dr. Haith is my favorite. Diagnosed Celie's RTA right off the bat when on one else could figure it out. :yay:

I personally use Miller but Dr. Sheth is good and will run tests on anything and everything. There was a family dr. on one of these threads that just moved to St. Mary's, can't remember the name but you can pm Lusby mom she knows.

We had the same problem with Dr. Miller's office, everything was always a virus. We switched to Dr. Sheth (301-863-6373) he was able to diagnose them quickly and accurately and we absolutely love him and his staff.

I take my children to Dr. Fahmi in the Bean bldg. The office staff is very professional and polite and he rocks! The kids adore him and so do I. If your child is sick, you will be seen the same day. He will turn no sick child away, sometime the wait is longer because of this but I know I am getting good care so I don't mind. When my two year old was having daily blood work done and a host of other tests, Dr. Fahmi would call and check on her when he got the chance, sometimes 8 or 9 pm, but it showed us he really cared.

He is good but his wife is absolutly horrible. But you don't have to deal with her all the time.

How old is your doctor? My 6 year old was very sick for 6 weeks. Couldn't hold anything down or in. I took her to the Dr. lots of times only to be told the same thing, viral infection. After her losing 9 pounds I finally took her to the ER. She had a severe kidney infection that the Dr office had missed each time we went. Good luck, I know how hard it is to see your baby sick.:huggy:

I took my son to him until his wife started working there. She messed up a lot of their billing/insurance claims, and came out into the lobby and demanded payment before they would see my son. I took him to the ER that day, and then he called and apologized for their error. I don't wanna hear that $hit!

I use Dr. Dhillion as well and I switched to him when my daughter was 2 months old and she is now 10 yrs old. She loves him and he really cares about the parents involvement with the child's health.

Dr. Jean Eisenbrey is a fantastic pediatrician, I used her for my kids long ago! (mine are 22 and 17, past the pediatric stage)

Dr. Jean has her own little ditzy way about her that the little ones love, and she's very knowledgable. Her number is 301-645-0966.
