Need all the Info I can get!

Hello, I am presently trying to relocate to S. Maryland from Buffalo NY, a friends family and my own are trying to purchase land to build on. we need ALL the help we can get as far as recommendations about where and how to find land...how to find a reputable builder, fees and anything else we may not be aware of, and, If possible, any Duplexes that may be for sale?, we are looking to build a 2 family home, her husband present lives in Callaway, but we are open to all of S.MD.
Please feel free to overload me with anything pertinent to relocating!! and Thank you all In advance!

Good Luck finding a lot......But when you do, use Annapolis One Title for your title work, ask for Tina :lol:

What part of Buffalo? My whole family is from there. :coffee:

I am tellin ya good land is hard to come by. I sold my place in Huckleberry and moved back to help out Momma Rugg at our house there. I made quite a bit of money sellin out. We have near 20 acres in Glasva and the real estate people have been after Momma Rugg to sell some of it off for years but she wont cause it is the original Rugg homestead. One real estate lady kept callin and callin and callin tryin to talk Momma into sellin but it only made Momma Rugg mad.

Momma Rugg always said that the telephone is just like talkin to a person face to face and there wasn't to be no rude behavior just cause you can't see the other person, but she got so mad she hung up on the real estate lady. Then the real estate lady came to the trailer and tried. I gotta give her credit for being tenacious but not too smart. She had all kinds of charts and graphs tryin to show Momma Rugg how much money she could make and how she could stay right there in the trailer and let them build houses all around. She said they wouldn't be regular houses but would be condominiums. Well that set Momma right off. She started hollerin and took one of the fancy charts and whacked the real estate woman right over the head. As the woman was squeelin tires out of there Momma was throwin rocks at her and yelling "NO Condominiums!"

After she calmed down I asked her what set her off so quick and she said "condominiums". I asked her what is so bad about condominiums as opposed to regular houses and she said bad people live in condominiums. I asked her what a condominiums really were anyway and she said "Rubber Housing projects where pricks live". So I don't blame her, first off I wouldn't want no rubber houses close by and especially if mean people live there.

Momma is pretty savy about real life stuff like that.

I am from South Buffalo, Mercy Hospital area. ..lol...I don't want a condo or a townhouse and I don't want to live In a community, just want to find a place to build a house....we cannot look Into renting at all as we both have equal numbers of pets that will NOT be given up because we are "moving" so...buying or building It is.

No, I posted on your topics. I saw where someone said there was a lady that lived down in St. Mary's County and that maybe she'd see the ad. I did see it. LOL! You're welcome for the zips!

My dad grew up off of Moore Avenue in North Tonanwanda, My mom grew up on Fries Road directly across the street from Kenmore East High School.
