Best knee dr. around is Dr. Steele. He's based in Annapolis.

I have heard that name before.... any reason why he's the best?

He has an excellent reputation. Did my dad's knee replacement years ago. He's treated my son for knee problems. He was offered position as team ortho with Miami Dolphins but turned it down (if memory serves me correctly....Otter??).

Was just wondering. I know that one of these days I'm going to most likely have to get work done to my knee... and just taking a survey of the good ones. I like the ones at Somd othro... but they're not touching the inside of my knee

Also look into Dr. Rozran in Calvert. His main office is in Prince Frederick but he bounces back and forth between there and Soloman's - a bit closer drive for St. Mary's residents. He did my knee surgery 2 years ago and I was very happy. He is willing to try many different options before resorting to surgery but doesn't push the physical therapy as if that is the only option.

Also his partner (Dr. Spatz I think) is great with kids. She is a pediatric orthopedist and I reccomend no one else if one of your kids happens to break a bone. Waterproof casts!!!

On another note . . . does anyone have information on a new technique called RIT (Regenerative Injection Therapy)??? I have heard about it in passing as a treatment for arthritis and certain ligament problems but haven't been able to find much info on the procedure or if it is being practiced around here . . . .
