Need Dentist Recommendation - Charles County

Can anyone recommend a good dentist in the Charles County area? I've searched the forums and most of the existing posts are for dentists in St. Mary's County. I'm one of those people who hates going to the dentist so I need someone who's patient with "babies" like me!

Dr. Greneil (Young woman - very nice, caring and patient with "babies" like you and ME!) Both she and her assistant are excellent with our kind.

I agree with rhenderson - Dr. Greniel (sp?) with Neibauer near the LaPlata Lowe's. I stayed away for 20 years and she treated me right! Great folks in that office.

personally I'd stay away from the Niebaeur group.....Chris Niebaeur was my dentist years ago (I'm old I guess) nice guy...

however, his dental corporation hires many young, what I consider inexperienced dentists.......I've had to get work repaired after expensive work was completed at further expense (lazy dentistry I was told).......and he expects to be paid in full for each visit or he'll finance your balance (my experience, maybe thats changed)...I'd call Maloney and Pfaum in Waldorf....they do good work and will let you carry a balance without pressure

If you search this forum with the keyword "Niebauer" you will see a thread where several posters complain how Niebauer clinics have a wide reputation for recommending unneeded and expensive follow-up treatments.

I've been going to Dr. Hochman for years, since he was with Dabbs office.. He really has taken care of me if it was an emergency, and always making sure I'm doing alright (I have a heart condition).. very good .. I would highly recommend Dr Hochman.

I haven't been to him, but hearing good things about Dr. Hochman as well.
