Need Help With Monitor

On Start up, my monitor makes this hissing noise, which eventually stops. It also rolls, like those old tv's in the background, this it does all the time. Only started about a week ago. It's a Likom HD17A flat screen, if that info is helpful. Thanks!

Does it have those old style knobs that you can adjust to stop it from rolling?

How old is it? Is it still under warranty? If not, then I think it may be time to get a new one!

It's only about 3 years old. Not under warranty. No, its a flat screen and there are no knobs. Maybe just time for a new one.

Here are a couple things to try,

First off check into downloading the latest drviers.

Buy a can of compressed air and blow out all the vents as best you can.

Look on your PC for any software related to your monitor and see if it allows you any adjustments.

Unplug it, wait a few minutes then plug it back in.

Those are the things I would try if I wanted to try to avoid going for a new monitor.
